About Us
Message from the Headteacher
Stepney All Saints School is a Church of England institution that upholds high standards in discipline, behaviour, and academic performance. The school’s vision that “we will achieve excellence and inspire generations the All Saints Way,” reflects its commitment to rigor, opportunity, community, and knowledge, supported by exceptional pastoral care.
In this nurturing environment filled with spiritual guidance, students are encouraged to develop into self-assured individuals with the independence and resilience to excel in school and beyond.
Students at Stepney All Saints are urged to participate fully in a diverse range of enrichment activities. Engaging in these activities not only challenges students but also fosters social responsibility, teamwork, and confidence.
The school aims for students to leave feeling fulfilled, proud of their accomplishments, and with a strong sense of empathy towards others. If our values resonate with you, we warmly invite you to visit Stepney All Saints for a personal tour.

About Stepney All Saints CofE School
Stepney All Saints is a Church of England school extending from Year 7-11, with the Stepney All Saints Sixth Form College focused on Year 12 and 13 learning.
At Stepney All Saints, we operate with high standards of behaviour, discipline and attainment.
We believe that by providing an environment in which pupils feel cared for and valued, they will increase in confidence and gain independence.
Our Christian Values and Ethos
Our Vision
Achieving excellence and inspiring generations the All Saints Way.
Values
Our core Christian value is to “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Luke 6:31.
The passage from Luke is exemplified by our focus on the following. These form a key part of everything that we do as a school:
- Forgiveness
- Compassion
- Inclusion
- Tolerance
- Respect for all
With the help of the school council, our ‘‘All Saints Way’ was created to exemplify how these values are borne out in day to day school life.
Ethos
Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian beliefs and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all pupils.
Mission Statement
We Learn Together | We Pray Together | We Achieve Together
Our pupils, teachers and staff are aware that, at the root of our mission statement is ‘Stepney All Saints is a Church of England school open to all pupils. Our mission is to provide first rate teaching, learning and extra-curricular activities within a caring and supportive Christian environment which respects all faiths and none, and serves the local community.’
Anti-Racism Statement
In May 2020 a black man, George Floyd, was murdered by police in the United States. This triggered a global outcry and demand for equality and justice for black communities across the globe.
Part of the debate in Britain sought to advance a greater understanding and awareness of unconscious bias and the history and mistreatment of black people in Britain.
As a diverse and anti-racist school we are united in our commitment to fight racism in all its form.
Upon discovering that Sir John Cass had direct links with the slave trade in Britain, it was decided that the continued link of his name and the school conflicted with our school’s pledge to oppose all forms of racism, discrimination and inequality.
Therefore in August 2020, following consultation with the Board of Governors, staff, students and members of the community, a new name for the school was agreed and our school became Stepney All Saints Church of England Secondary School.
Our new name emphasises both our local community and our strong connection with St Dunstan’s and All Saints Church.
We are actively working with Representation Matters Ltd, to transform our school into a space where every individual feels they truly belong.
Trustees
Our school has been established for over 50 years and is supported by our trustee, The Portal Trust.
