Key Stage 3 PE

Up until year 11 students take PE as a compulsory lesson:

The KS3 Curriculum is designed to prepare students for the practical and theoretical challenges of KS4 PE exam subjects, as well as educating them of the benefits of physical activity. Students have the option to choose GCSE PE or Cambridge Nationals Sports Studies at Key Stage 4. There is also a Level 3 BTEC Sport course for those students that choose to study PE at KS5.

There are also extra-curricular clubs available to students in football, basketball, swimming, cricket, trampolining, multi sports, netball and badminton. There are inclusive clubs where all students are welcome, regardless of ability, and clubs which are specifically for team training (trials are at the beginning of the year.)

The School also enters inter-school competitions, such as the Tower Hamlets League and London Cup in football, and a variety of tournaments in most sports mentioned above. The school has a proud record of winning trophies in a range of different competitions.
